HOYORI MARUO

Hoyori Maruo (she/her) is a movement artist based in Sydney, Australia. Most recently, she has worked with Opera Australia as a featured artist in their new production of ‘Turandot’ for their 2026 Summer Season under the direction of Ann Yee. Hoyori has danced with FORM Dance Projects, Pinchgut Opera and has toured with Riley Fitzgerald Productions to Mexico City and Newcastle Australia as a dancer in EveryB0dy's G0t a B0mb.

Hoyori graduated in 2020 with a CUA51520 Diploma in Professional Dance and continued her training through Gibney Dance (NYC) under the mentorship of Jessica Smith. As part an Obremski/Works fellow, Hoyori presented Run from the Shadows which premiered in NYC.

Now residing in Australia, Hoyori continues to perform, teach and choreograph.
